Cemetery Database for Dauphin County, Pennsylvania

The first part of the database is an alphabetical listing of over 115,000 names of deceased individuals buried in the 280 cemeteries in Dauphin County:

1)  Who died in Dauphin County and were buried in a Dauphin Co. cemetery.
2)  Who died elsewhere and were buried in a Dauphin County cemetery.
3)  Who died in Dauphin County, but were buried elsewhere.


This index of names was compiled from information transcribed from the gravestones from each of the 247 cemeteries located in Dauphin Co. as well as information transcribed from newspaper obituaries taken from The Harrisburg Patriot-News newspaper from 2000 to 2010.

It is important to note that this index of names does not include gravestone transcription information for the following Dauphin Co. cemeteries: replica watches

1)  Harrisburg Cemetery, Harrisburg, PA.  You can obtain burial information directly from the cemetery by calling (717) 234-8661 weekdays between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, or by writing to 521 North 13th Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17103.  Be aware that the cemetery charges a fee for this service.  You can also obtain burial information for this cemetery by contacting the Find-A-Grave website at http://www.findagrave.com.

2)  Hummelstown Cemetery, Hummelstown, PA.  You can obtain burial information by visiting or writing to the Hummelstown Area Historical Society, 28 W.
